“Great homemade soap and shampoo. Doesn't dry out your skin and scalp! All-natural ingredients and lasts a long time. Highly recommend these products!”
— Michael Myers
“Wow! The moisturizer bars (evening primrose butter bars) are amazing! My skin was extra dry from the sun and salty sea air! I am undergoing chemo treatments and this bar restored my skin to its soft state! Your soap is so beautiful and feels so good on my skin. I gave them as gifts and everyone loved them . . . I will never use another soap ever. They look like soap in an art form!”
— Cathy York
“Huge fan of the woodsy dude soap—when I step out of the shower I’m refreshed like I just took a stroll through a pine forest. When the bar’s down to halfway I make sure I order another as a backup!”
— Ian Stevenson
Soap is the best! Skin feels silky smooth and clean. Love the shampoo! Hair feels amazing, silky and soft. Great products with NO CHEMICALS!”

“I have been using Maine Botanical Soaps organic shampoo bars and soap for six months now and I can’t say enough good things about them. The French green clay in the shampoo bar balances out my natural hair and scalp oils so that my oily hair only needs to be washed every other day. In addition, my hair is fine and has little natural body to it. In the past I have often used mousse to give it more lift, but find that step unnecessary with the shampoo bar and have cheerfully eliminated that step from my hair care routine. As for the soaps, I am only on my second bar in both the tub and at the kitchen sink - the bars last forever. I like knowing that I’m doing a small part in reducing my plastic bottle footprint - and in giving bars as gifts I’m hopefully getting others to do likewise. What’s not to like? Local, organic, does the job, reduces plastic consumption, well priced, lovely to look at, great for gift giving.”

“I have used a couple of Maine Botanical Soaps and love the smell of them. I have been so pleasantly surprised at how long the bars last, three or four times as long as the Irish Spring I have used in the past.”
